Originally built in 1972, the block-long office building at 55 East Monroe has been a fixture on the Chicago skyline for more than thirty years. This major adaptive re-use project involved the conversion of the building’s upper 10 floors into luxury condominium residences.

The new canopy and illuminated marquis will provide residences with a unique and distinguished entry at 65 East Monroe. A private elevator bank featuring the city’s fastest elevators will whisk residences to the upper levels. The façade at these levels will be dramatically transformed as the existing curtain wall is replaced by new floor to ceiling glass with operable windows and private recessed terraces. Non-structural perimeter columns are being removed to offer more expansive views of the skyline and lakefront. At the penthouse level, amenities will include landscaped terrace, hot tub, indoor swimming pool and fitness, media and community rooms.
