George Pappageorge earned his architectural degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Early in his career, he worked in Chicago as a designer and urban planner while learning the rigor of residential development through several small projects with David Haymes. For more than 25 years he has been the guiding spirit behind a divergent body of work that has fostered public awareness and appreciation of architecture while enhancing our nation’s cities. His achievements have been published internationally and have been featured in numerous exhibitions. Under his leadership Pappageorge/Haymes Ltd. has received an abundance of 50 awards for design excellence.
