The program for this 270 s.f. high volume watch and accessory store called for a design which would embellish the existing image by reconsidering product presentation with a strong visual statement. Glass box showcases bolted to the storefront float on both sides of the iridescent polished brass entry portal. Once inside, watch selections are grouped as wall display vignettes within metallic and pearlized lacquered cabinets. This order is disrupted by a skewed copper and black lacquer counter and a pewter display counter wrapped in thick glass. The resulting imagery is one of opulence that invites inspection; a prerequisite for visual merchandising.
