jeff renterghem Jeff joined Pappageorge/Haymes in 1994 and quickly was assigned to some of the firm’s most celebrated work, including Willow Court, Kinzie Park, Park Terrace, Old Town Square, University Commons and Walton on the Park. In 1999 he became the senior designer and project manager for Museum Park, the much publicized, multi-phased Chicago lakefront development encompassing high-rise, mid-rise and townhouse building components. Recent assignments include the $165 million luxury condo/office SouthShore riverfront project in Newport, Kentucky. The development is planned to include more than 200 condos and 130,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space with a view of the Cincinnati skyline from the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. Pappageorge/Haymes was selected for this project because of its ability, in the developer’s words, to “craft a distinctive neighborhood within each project's natural environment" with a "high priority on respecting the history of each urban environment it enters while creating a unique sense of place." Jeff began his professional career in Detroit at CF Campbell Architects/Contractors working as project architect on mostly single-family residential work. He later expanded his repertoire to include multi-residential, entertainment and educational facilities while at Schervish Vogal Merz P.C., and later at Garnet Cousins and Associates and Muller & Muller Architects in Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University at Southfield, Michigan in 1986, and a Master of Architecture from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1990. His professional activities include membership in the American Institute of Architects and appearances as lecturer or panelist at conferences and symposia. |
