KEVIN M. KLIMEK
Senior Project Architect
Kevin offers over 20 years of experience as an architect and project manager with core expertise in developing creative solutions at every stage of the design process, including feasibility analysis, concept exploration, scheme development and project execution. Since joining PH in 2006, he has contributed his expertise to such major projects in Chicago as: One Museum Park; a modern 62-story, 289-unit residential tower, and its companion The Grant a 54-story, 292-unit tower, at the south end of Chicago’s renowned Grant Park, and Michigan Avenue Tower II; a 28-story, 257-unit mixed-use complex. Major project involvement outside of Chicago includes: Park Lafayette; an award-winning, 282-unit development comprising twin 20-story towers and ten townhouses in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and River Oaks District; a new 15-acre luxury mixed-use development comprised of designer shops, restaurants, premier office space, and upscale apartments in Houston’s Uptown-Galleria neighborhood in Texas.
Kevin began his professional career in 1993 at Carl R. Klimek Associates Architects/Planners, Chicago, Illinois, where he worked as project architect/manager responsible for planning and permitting activities, proposal preparations, and contract negotiations. Special areas of expertise included confirming compliance of project design with applicable Building Codes through extensive peer reviews. He later worked as owner’s representative/senior design consultant for various components of the El Camino Del Sol Residential Resort Community, in Nicaragua. Kevin served at Schroeder Murchie Niemiec Gazda-Auskainis Architects, Chicago, Illinois, as senior project manager with the Public Building Commission (PBC), engaged to provide project delivery services for the 2013 School Investment Program on behalf of the Chicago Public Schools.
