Carissa joined Pappageorge Haymes Partners in 2003 as a Project Accountant, was promoted to Staff Accountant in 2014, and advanced to the role of Assistant Controller in 2019. An integral part of the Accounting team, Carissa is responsible for maintaining accurate financial activities of the company to assure the firm’s records accurately reflect and support the operations and growth of the firm. Her duties include preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements, daily monitoring of the firm’s cash position, management of sub-consultants invoicing and other accounts payable, maintaining general ledger accounts and activities, communication with the firm’s bank and CPA and insurance management, in accordance with the firm’s organizational policies and strategies.
