CHRISTOPHER D. WOODFIN

AIA, Senior Associate

Chris Woodfin leads his design team with over 30 years of multi-national architectural and design experience. Since joining Pappageorge Haymes Partners in 2014, Chris has served as project lead on some of the firm’s most visible out-of-town work. He has managed projects from conception through construction supervision in a diverse range of project typologies, including mixed-use, institutional, hospitality, commercial, retail, and multi-family residential. His high professionalism has enabled him to oversee complex projects, working collaboratively with clients to bring their vision to life and delivering exceptional solutions that exceed expectations.

Earlier in his career, Chris worked as an intern at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Chicago, Illinois, and later as a designer at The Glave Firm and at Bond, Comet, Westmoreland and Hiner Architects, Richmond, Virginia. In 1997, he joined Tecny Group, New York, New York, as senior designer/project manager, and later worked as senior designer/project architect at IA-Interior Architects, and at Solomon Cordwell and Buenz Architects, in Chicago, Illinois, prior to moving to Athens, Greece in 1999. During this time, Chris worked as designer/project architect at K. Kyriakides & Associates S.A. Architects, and continued to work for the firm on a project-by-project basis after he left to become a partner at MWArchitects, Athens, Greece. Chris returned to the states in 2011 and worked as senior designer at BHDP Architects, Cincinnati, Ohio, and later at bKL Architecture, Chicago, Illinois.
