Sofia Ramos


Project Architect

Sofia graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. She interned at BEA Architects in Miami, Florida for several summers while still in school. In her fourth year, Sofia traveled abroad to over 50 cities in Europe studying the different urban conditions in each city, and spent the latter half of the year participating in an academic internship in Chicago at VonWeise Associates. Sofia’s final year at school was spent back in Virginia with her thesis focusing on the complexities of the urban environment.

On staff at Pappageorge Haymes Partners since 2020, Sofia has been a valuable team member on a variety of projects ranging from banking facilities to single family and multi-family residential Planned Development projects. Sofia has taken on responsibilities in nearly every facet of project development from early site plan and floor plan development to assisting with consultant coordination, 3D modeling and construction documentation.
