This master plan was conceived in conjunction with a concept for a new stadium for the Oakland A’s at Ballpark Village in Fremont, California. The expansive development is envisioned in a variety of multi-family and townhouse formats, to be divided into smaller pedestrian-scaled enclaves that ensure residential access to open space and parks. Also included are three hundred additional apartments within the mixed-use district immediately adjacent to the stadium, an area designed to evoke the historic and colorful neighborhoods surrounding Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park.
