1203 NORTH CALIFORNIA WINS THE RICHARD H. DRIEHAUS FOUNDATION AWARD!

🏆 We’re proud to announce that the Pedro Albizu Campos Apartments (1203 North California) has been honored with the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Award for Architectural Excellence in Community Design at the 31st Annual Chicago Neighborhood Development Awards!

In partnership with Hispanic Housing Development Corporation, this 9-story affordable housing project in Humboldt Park provides spacious 2-3 bedroom units, tall ceilings, and easy access to transit, supporting a car-free, community-focused lifestyle.

The project brings to life HHDC’s vision for strengthening Paseo Boricua, the heart of Puerto Rican culture in Humboldt Park—reinforcing the area’s identity while connecting the community to its park, local businesses, and cultural landmarks.

Congratulations to Ken DeMuth, the PH team, and thank you LISC Chicago for this incredible recognition!
