Last Friday we celebrated the groundbreaking of The Monreaux in South Bend, an exciting step toward bringing more attainable housing to the downtown community.

This four-story, 57-unit affordable housing development will transform a vacant downtown site into a vibrant residential community with studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, live/work units, and ground-floor retail activating the corner of Monroe and Michigan. Inspired by the industrial legacy of the nearby Studebaker Factory, the project blends historic character with contemporary urban design.

We were proud to have Tim Kent, Partner at PH, and Donald Mouch, Associate at PH, in attendance alongside local leaders, including our client Devereaux Peters, the former Notre Dame and WNBA basketball star, to mark this important milestone for downtown South Bend.
