Two PH projects were recognized at the 2024 Illinois RE Journals Real Estate Awards Event on June 5th. Onni Fulton Market was awarded in the “Multifamily - Fulton Market/West Loop” category and Peabody School Apartments received recognition in the Redevelopment / Reuse / Historic - Multifamily” category!

Onni Fulton Market is a 32-story apartment tower situated at the convergence of the Kennedy Expressway, Metra rail lines, and the Halsted Street overpass leading to Fulton Market. The tower's design reflects the urban essence of its surroundings through a sophisticated interplay of geometries and dynamic planes. Overcoming complex site challenges, the project delivers 373 apartments, including 56 recently converted hotel rooms, catering to residents and visitors alike.

The Elizabeth Peabody Public School, designed by architect W. August Fiedler in 1894, is a prominent example of late 19th-century Chicago public school architecture. Built during a time of rapidly growing population in Chicago, the structure embodies hallmark traits of schoolhouse design from the era, featuring intricate ornamentation using stone, brick, terracotta, and decorative metal in the Romanesque/Classical Revival styles. Following the school’s closure in 2013, the building was redeveloped for residential use in 2023. The completed project masterfully blends modern upgrades with the school's original features, preserving its vintage charm while providing attractive living spaces for contemporary residents.
